The former Marlborough Head pub is progressing well, with the blockwork now complete and work on the roof timbers and trusses well underway.
The shared ownership apartments are complete to roof level, with seeding installation for the grass roofs progressing in the coming weeks. Crest Nicholson is progressively removing scaffolding and installing windows. Internal works such as walls and ceilings have also started for this block.
The steel frame for the cinema and the car park is due imminently with lighting, fire alarms and barrier works underway in levels 0-3 of the car park.
Brightwell House has been protected whilst it has undergone extensive surveys to understand the work required. The brick chimneys are now completed with work commencing on the roof and tiling in the coming weeks.

After the very successful Hard Hat event, we held a second event at the start of April welcoming yet more prospective buyers onto site and showing them what our new town square, retail offer and cinema will look like, amongst other things. The viewers were also able to step inside our first apartment block and get a feel for the brand-new apartments.
The remainder of the development continues to progress at pace, with internal work such as fittings for bathrooms and kitchens taking place in apartment blocks.
